Who We Are

A Gathering Where Any
Believer Can Speak

Saturday Night Church is completely different from any other gathering. Anyone who confesses that Jesus is Lord and Jesus Christ has come in the flesh has the right and the opportunity to speak in front of the gathering. This can be done by registering ahead of time to bring a song, read scripture, or share a testimony; or it can be done during the "open mic" time after the pre-registered testimonies have been shared. Our desire is to hear the hearts of every believer, and we have created this format to make sure that happens. The Holy Spirit can speak to anyone who believes and we don't want to miss what He is saying.

We are not a denomination or a formal institution — simply brothers and sisters in Christ who believe in the power of gathering together, sharing our lives, and lifting each other up in love. We have a small team of Elders and do not take up a collection.

What We Do Together

Worship in Song

Person signed up takes two minutes to introduce a song of their choosing and describe what it means to them. Then its played off of youtube music and everyone can sing using the lyrics posted at the bottom of the website.

Read Scripture

click for description
Person signed up reads a passage from scripture that is important to them or that the Holy Spirit has put on their heart. No interpretation is given, just straight scripture.

Share Testimonies

Person signed up has 5-7 minutes to share something that God has done in their life specifically, either long ago or recent. After this, there is an 'open mic' time where believers can respond to what has been shared or share something the Holy Spirit has revealed to them in the moment.

Open Mic

Any believer can share as time allows, but we ask that it be limited to 2 or 3 minutes per person.

Pray Together

Break into small groups - make sure to include someone outside of your own family, and pray for each other. You can pray about something spoken earlier, or as you are led by the Spirit.

Lord's Supper

As each small group finishes praying, they can come to the front and take The Lords Supper.

Eat Together

After taking the Lords Supper, we invite everyone to eat together picnic style. Individuals or families should bring their own food - ice chests are welcome.

What We Believe

The Word of God

We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God and our supreme guide for faith and life.

Jesus Christ

We confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior — fully God and fully man — who died for our sins and rose bodily from the dead.

Salvation by Grace

We believe salvation is a gift of God received through faith in Jesus Christ, not earned by our own works or merit.

Baptism into Christ

We believe in baptism by immersion into Christ for the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit, as described in Acts 2:38.

The Lord's Supper

We take the Lord's Supper together each week — remembering His body and blood given for us, while we eagerly await his return.

The Church

We believe in the universal body of Christ and the importance of gathering together, encouraging one another, and using our gifts for His glory.
